Herbert Ward (birth registered July→September 1873 in Bradford[1] — died 18 February 1955 (aged 81–82) in Wharfedale[2]) was a rugby union footballer of the 1890s who at representative level played for England, and at club level for Bradford F.C.,[3] playing at Fullback, i.e. number 15. Prior to the 27th August 1895, Bradford F.C. was a rugby union club, and since 1907 it has been the association football (soccer) club Bradford Park Avenue A.F.C..
